The optimist in me is hoping for a miracle. Teams The Blood Bowl 3 races which are currently included in the game, have been marked with this icon next to them. The solo player has been completely forgotten about here and I'm lead to believe they form a large part of this community. I appreciate that Multiplayer is a big part of this community and I completely respect that, but we really weren't asking for a re-invention of the wheel, just simple admin tools on Solo seasons would have really taken some heat off the devs, the customisation/monetisation aspect should rightfully take some slack as it's nothing short of scandalous extortion, even though it's not something i'm too bothered about. Its soo frustrating as BB3 has taken years to create and it seems they went to the beach and got the work experience guy to knock something up in a fortnight. Oh and if you haven't gathered this already from the plethora of rants across the discussion boards, the AI is dumber than BB2 and buggy to boot.

You complete the series of games you set-up and then nothing. The AI v AI games simulate as 1-0 or 0-1 with no injury, SSP history, essentially, they will never level up. The competition doesn't have any table element, no points tally. They just get loaded in under crappy names like 'Bots of the bloody old world bots'.

Fouling is a strong game plan, and you have several ways to win the war of attrition, with many good hitting pieces and the ability to punish opponents who are on the floor with your Halflings, Human Linemen, or in time, a Sneaky Git player.I started by creating a Ladder tournament and entered my Player team, after a baffling 5 minutes I couldn't find any option to add AI but the option seemingly flashed for a few seconds. A good tactic is to find ways to push opponents into base contact with it. The Treeman is a very powerful tool to hold the middle of the field and can often occupy several enemy players.

The Dwarf Runner is not really worth taking when you have the Human Thrower, and this build excludes it.

The Dwarf Blockers is not a patch on the Dwarf team's version, with Arm Bar and Brawler no comparison to Block and Tackle, but it does give you an additional AV10+ player and easy access to Guard. The Slayer is another player with Block, and has great potential as a killer, as well as giving you tactical options (and limitations) with Frenzy. The Blitzer is a very solid take that gives you more Block and has great development options. The Dwarf players are a mixed bag and suffer from having the Loner skill. The Halfling gives you a one-turn Touchdown option, and can also be used for cheap fouling. For your other choices, the Human positions and Linemen are just very solid choices who come with a range of useful skills and can be developed into very strong players.
The Tree is also cheaper, and you never have to worry about it losing its Tackle Zones to Bonehead. Starting the Treeman, despite his lesser mobility, is a better option for OWA than the Ogre, not least by allowing easier one-turn Throw Team-mate scores with the Halfling.
