His hatred for Boyfriend is never elaborated upon, he revived Big Brother out of wanting to use him to kill Boyfriend rather than simply out of not wanting to be in debt to him, and he disapproved of Girlfriend saving people from a zombie apocalypse. And even that may come off as abusive in a sense that when Girlfriend suspected Boyfriend of cheating and returned home, Daddy Dearest wouldn't let her leave afterward.
